Ability to explain and convince is more important for CIOs than anything else…being CIO is tough at times. Getting approval for potential plans is not easy when the boss does not rely on technology much.
CIOs must use the services personally before they ask the organization to choose one. But there are so many things that work only at enterprise level only. What can one do in that case?…go with the assumptions?
Business relies on assumptions, even if the technology has been used personally on a smaller scale. The services that support only enterprises can be tested on the smaller scale before going in with heavy investment. And there is always a free trial.
